I might not be the biggest fan of minor league basketball in Montreal, but I’m the most devoted fan.  That’s not just a title I give myself, but one given to me by three and a half seasons of Montreal minor league players, several owners and other staff, and some people involved in basketball in other cities.

That doesn’t mean I never miss a game; I do, sometimes.  That doesn’t mean I never criticize; I do, quite often in fact.

What it means is this: I’m not employed by any team, but I do a lot for them.  I’m an unofficial photographer.  Last  season I was a chauffeur, too.  I know most of the players, I know the owners, and I work a lot behind the scenes trying to get the teams more coverage.

I don’t get paid, which means I can say whatever I want. And I will, which is the point of this blog. I’ll share the opinions and observations I’ve developed watching teams rise and fall since 2005, let you know some of what the players get up to off the court, and maybe let you in on some advanced information (if I can do it without betraying anybody’s trust, that is).

Any photos posted here are a labour of love, and were taken by myself or my father unless otherwise credited.  Please don’t use them without appropriate credit – a name and a link is fine.  I’d prefer if you ask me first.  Same goes for copying anything I write here; quote me all you want, but do it properly.  Please.
